Dr. Thomas J. Kinahan is a Canadian Royal College Fellow and Diplomate of the American Board of Urology.
He specializes in children's urology, including the treatment of congenital problems such as hypospadias and undescended testes.
He is also skilled in all aspects of male and female urologic surgery, including fertility surgery, vasectomy reversal and
treatment of male and female incontinence problems. He has a large practice in Urological Oncology, dealing with prostate
cancer, bladder cancer and kidney tumors. He has special experience in laparoscopic surgery, also known as Minimal Access
Surgery, and performed the first laparoscopic nephrectomy in British Columbia in 1992.
He has practiced in the beautiful Okanagan Valley since 1991, at Kelowna General Hospital
